Emergency responders rescued a trapped newspaper truck driver from a body of water around 7:00 on Thursday morning ofter he skidded off of I-90 – just north of the Massachusetts Turnpike.

The driver was headed westbound in his box truck at the time of the accident. Police and firefighters had to free the trapped driver from his partially submerged truck.
He was taken by ambulance to Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer.
The drivers identity and current condition are not known.
