A 12-year-old boy allegedly caused this dramatic accident after stealing a car and crashing it into a fuel tanker before fleeing the scene on foot – leaving his injured friend behind.
There were five juveniles (the oldest being only 16) who participated in the theft. All were apprehended by the Queensland police and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
