TRAFFIC UPDATE: Indiana I-65 Northbound Shutdown

Things are still shut down on I-65 Northbound in Indiana [from State Road 47 to State Road 28] due to a serious accident.

According to local authorities, one traffic lane is open – but things are moving very slowly. Police are urging motorists to seek alternate routes.

Troopers suggest exiting at mile-marker 146, go west to State Road 47 to northbound U.S. 52, then proceed north on U.S. 52 to State Road 28, then go east two miles to return to northbound I-65.

Multiple vehicles are said to have been involved in the aftermath.

The roadway is expected to remain blocked for several hours.
