Remember hitchBOT, the adorable hitchhiking robot who hitched rides across Canada? He’s now making his way across the U.S.– maybe one of you could help him on his journey!
Last summer, hitchBOT hitched rides from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Canada. He rode in 19 vehicles. The trek took 26 days.
Since then, hitchBOT has hitchhiked throughout Germany and the Netherlands.
On July 17, 2015, hitchBOT began his U.S. journey. He started at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. He’s hoping to end his journey at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, California.
According to the hitchBOT website, “I hope to complete items from my hitchhiking bucket list with the help of friendly strangers. This includes visiting a number of historic sites like Time Square in New York City; Millennium Park in Illinois; Mount Rushmore in South Dakota; and the Grand Canyon in Arizona.”
CDLLife is offering a FREE CDLLife t-shirt to any truck driver who helps hitchBOT reach his final destination. All you have to do is drive hitchBOT for a time and take a picture of him riding shotgun in your truck and email the picture to info@cdllife2017.wpengine.com.
