An SUV driver on I-64 in Tennessee last Friday was hit by an 18-wheeler and wound up pinned vertically between two trucks — and walked away unharmed.
Motorist David Grimes slowed for traffic when his vehicle was struck by a truck and within seconds he was hanging from his seatbelt.
His wife saw media coverage of the incident and could not imagine that her husband was alive and uninjured, but the only injury Grimes suffered was a slight burn from the air bag.
Grimes called the incident a miracle. He was back to work today to make up the call he missed because of the wreck
