A truck driver had pleaded guilty to intimidating an FMCSA employee.
On March 11, 2015, truck driver Ronald Mockelman was charged with making threats against a federal employee.
According to the Department of Transportation’s Office of the Inspector General, Mockelman “made several threatening telephone calls to FMCSA’s Nebraska Division offices” as well as a call to the FMCSA Midwestern Service Center in Illinois.
The OIG states that during the calls, Mockelman threatened bodily harm after he received a fine for failing to comply with regulations.
On July 21, 2015, Mockelman pleaded guilty to the to intimidating an FMCSA employee.
