Following an incredible two truck collision that left the trailer of one truck resting on top of the cab of another, both truck drivers are going to be okay.
The crash happened around 4:30 this morning near Pageland, South Carolina. The two trucks somehow collided on U.S. 601.
Bystanders from a nearby convenience store were able to pull one of the truck drivers out of the wreckage. Local reports say both drivers are okay; the driver of the Tyson truck was reportedly taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No citations have been issued at this time.
One truck was empty while the other was hauling eggs.
Traffic was reduced to one lane for hours while crews cleaned up spilled diesel and removed the wrecked trucks, but both lanes were reopened by 8 a.m.
