The female trucker who spoke to local news crews on the phone while her truck was being looted during last night’s violent protests in Charlotte has contacted the reporter to let him know that she is safe.
Last night reporter Joe Bruno was able to reach a truck driver named Connie who said she was afraid for her life as angry protest shut down I-85.
