A truck driver had a tough morning in the Massachusetts town of Westborough when he missed (or ignored) several large, brightly colored signs warning about a low bridge clearance.
The driver’s bad day started this morning around 11 a.m. when he tried to maneuver his truck under a low railroad bridge on Route 30 and wound up wedged underneath, in spite of signs warning of the 12’6″ clearance.
Firefighters were able to assist in removing the truck, but not before it caused traffic backups in the area.
No one was hurt.
Today’s truck driver wasn’t the only one who somehow missed the Westborough’s low bridge signs. The Route 30 overpass has a history of luring in unsuspecting truckers.
Back in July, another trucker found himself in a similar situation.

And the same thing back in March of 2016.

Locals in Westborough have seen their fair share of truckers ignore the signs and pay the price and seem incredulous that the driver missed the signs.
Others argue that the sign is misleading the drivers.
