Dozens of vehicles have collided on eastbound I-94 near Kalamazoo, Michigan, forcing officials to close the interstate until further notice.
The crashes were reported around 1 p.m. today on I-94 between Exit 80 and Exit 85.
Michigan State Police say that the pileup involves 51 vehicles. Of these 51 vehicles, 32 were cars and 19 were tractor trailers. Several jackknifed trucks have been spotted among the crashed vehicles.

It isn’t clear if there are injuries as a result of the crash.
The roadway was icy at the time of the crash.
It isn’t clear when the interstate will reopen.
