Watch as vegan protesters swarm around trucks outside of a Los Angeles slaughterhouse in order to give the animals inside a last drink of water.
The video, entitled “Meet Them, They Who are About to Die to Become Your Meat!” was posted on Facebook Live by Jane Velez-Mitchell, who writes,
“#JaneUnChained is LIVE with Los Angeles Animal Save at a pig slaughterhouse near Los Angeles, California bearing witness and giving water to thirsty pigs who are about 6 months old. These pigs are transported long distances, without food, water or bathroom breaks and will be killed shortly after the truck enters the building across the street. In this video, Lisa Karlan speaks with Those Annoying Vegans, actress/producer Gianna Simone and other activists who have come out on a Sunday night to bear witness.”
