CAT Scale prices are going up today

You’ll pay a little more next time you weigh your truck at a CAT Scale thanks to a price increase that went into effect today.

On September 18, 2019 CAT Scale prices increased for U.S. customers to $12 for a first weigh and $2.50 for a reweigh.

The CAT Scale website’s FAQ section reflects the new pricing today in a question on the number of reweighs that you can obtain for $2.50.

The company also confirmed the increase on their social media page in response to a customer question.

This is not the first time that CAT Scale has increased prices. In April of 2018, the cost of a first weigh increased from $11.00 to $11.50. The cost for a reweigh remained at $2.

The first CAT Scale was installed in South Holland, Illinois, more than 40 years ago.
