A two vehicle crash caused a spectacular amount of damage and will close a North Carolina interstate until this afternoon.
The incident happened in Asheville, North Carolina, around 9:15 a.m. on Friday, September 20, WLOS reports.
Police say that a semi truck and a car were involved in a crash on eastbound I-40 near Exit 53.
The collision caused a highway sign to collapse onto the lanes of the interstate.

No injuries have been reported.
Eastbound I-40 is expected to remain closed until around 3 p.m.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
