CVSA offers ‘cheat sheet’ to get you through Roadcheck

With the nationwide Roadcheck truck inspection blitz only only weeks away, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) has released a “cheat sheet” to help trucker prepare.

This year, International Roadcheck will take place from June 4 — 6 throughout North America. The CVSA has announced that inspectors will be paying special attention to steering and suspension systems.

Most drivers who are inspected during Roadcheck will receive the full 37 point North American Standard Level I Inspection, according to a news release from the CVSA.

During last year’s Roadcheck, 67,502 roadside inspections were conducted and 11,897 vehicles were placed out of service. An additional 2,664 drivers were placed out of service.
