Dozens of people were injured in a 19 vehicle crash on Cajon Pass in Southern California this morning.
The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, on southbound I-15 over Cajon Pass in San Bernardino County, California.

Authorities say that nineteen commercial and passenger vehicles were involved in a pileup crash.

Thirty-five people were hurt in the crash with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department says that weather was a factor in the crash. Caltrans issued a fog advisory for the area just an hour before the crash occurred.
All lanes of southbound I-15 were closed for hours with miles long traffic backups reported in the area. However, Caltrans announced at 2 p.m. that all lanes of southbound I-15 had reopened.
