Semi truck ‘drives thru’ Indiana fast food restaurant


An Indiana Wendy’s restaurant is closed until further notice after a semi truck drove almost all the way through the store.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night in Dale, Indiana, at a Wendy’s located off of Highway 231.

So this happened at Wendy's in Dale Indiana semi ran through the building.

Police reported that the truck driver said that his brakes failed while he was outside of the truck hooking up his trailer, according to a report from 14 News.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Wendy's employees in Dale got quite the scare when a semi plowed straight through the restaurant….

The runaway truck plowed almost all the way through the restaurant, essentially splitting the building in half.

Five employees were in the building, but no one was hurt.
