California police are on the hunt for a reckless SUV driver who they say caused a crash that cost a semi truck driver his life last week.
The crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, in Moreno Valley, California, according to a report from RDF.com.

Police say that a male driver in a black 2004 Chevy Tahoe was speeding and weaving in and out of lanes on northbound I-215 near Cactus Avenue.
As the SUV driver approached slower traffic, police say he veered to the right, colliding with a semi truck driven by 36 year old Robert Ferguson.
Ferguson’s truck rolled as a result of the collision.
Ferguson was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol says that after the crash, the SUV driver fled the scene. The driver is believed to have received a ride from another motorist.
Ferguson was an Army veteran and father of three.
