A truck driver was killed in Utah on Monday when the cargo that he was unloading off of his truck fell on top of him.
The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, March 18, at Warner Trucking in West Valley City, Utah.
West Valley City Police say that the truck driver was helping others to unload steel beams from his truck when one of the beams fell on top of him.
West Valley Police Lt. Amy Mauer told KSL that “during the process of unloading, the cargo became unstable and fell from the forklift, pinning our victim.”
The truck driver later died from his injuries at the scene.
