Trucker’s beach photo-op backfires

A rough day at the beach for this driver.

A trucker just looking to get a nice photo of his big rig on an Oregon beach found himself in need of assistance.

The incident occurred on Tuesday in Clatsop County, Oregon.

According to local news outlet KXL, an out of state truck driver parked on Sunset Beach for a photo but was caught by a ‘sneaker wave,’ leaving his semi truck stuck in the sand.

Luckily, members of the Clatsop County Son’s Of Beaches 4×4 Club were on hand to assist the driver in freeing his stuck truck — and they took several photos and video of the rescue effort.

This isn’t the first time that a semi truck has been stuck on a beach — in July 2018 a truck driver followed his GPS onto a beach in Corolla, North Carolina and became stuck in the soft sand.
