A chain reaction crash that shut down a Wisconsin interstate for hours was caught on dash cam.
The pileup began during winter weather conditions around 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, near Janesville, Wisconsin.
Wisconsin State Police say that the pileup began on I-39/90 when a semi truck struck a tow truck that was assisting with a minor crash, causing the tow truck to strike the tow truck driver.
This initial crash led to a series of resulting crashes that ultimately involved 24 vehicles.
Both the tow truck driver and the semi truck driver involved in the initial crash were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
The crash shut down the interstate for about four hours.
