50 truckers convoy to bring joy to boy with terminal cancer

Dozens of truckers came together in Wisconsin to brighten the day of a local boy suffering from deadly cancer.

Last week, 50 truck drivers came together in Berlin, Wisconsin, in a show of support for nine year old Miguel, who is suffering from a rare form of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma.

Convoy organizer Becky Retzlaff told Fox 11 that she was overwhelmed by the response from truckers who wanted to show up for Miguel. She said, “We can’t do a lot, but we own trucks, so I was like, ‘Why not give him a ride in a semi?’ and it all just kinda blew up!”

Retzlaff’s son is in the same class as Miguel in school.

The video below details Miguel’s special day.
