A truck driver is facing multiple charges stemming from an argument at a Virginia truck wash.
The incident occurred at the Blue Beacon Truck Wash at 61 South Gateway Drive in Stafford County, Virginia, on August 30 at 2:23 p.m., according to a news release from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say that an argument began when a truck driver, later identified as 49 year old Primus Davis, became “annoyed over how long it was taking for the victim to move his vehicle through the line” and brandished a handgun.
A witness then pulled his car in front of Davis’ truck and told Davis not to leave until police arrived.
According to police, rather than stay at the scene, Davis used his truck to push the car out of the way and left the truck wash location.
Police located Davis on Warrenton Road near I-95. He was arrested without further incident.
Davis was charged with felony hit and run and brandishing.
He has since been released from jail after posting bond.
