A Wyoming woman recently shared images of wiped out shelves at a Walmart store as a reminder of how much we rely on truck drivers to bring the goods we need to survive.
Facebook user LaRae Davis recently shared photos from the Rock Springs Wyoming store with nearly bare shelves due to the fact that winter weather storms and road closures have prevented truckers from making deliveries.
Davis wrote, “This is OUR Walmart shelves. No it’s not because they don’t have enough help, or their stockers aren’t doing their jobs. This is because TRUCKERS have been stranded all along I-80 for days, unable to deliver the goods. This is the beginning of what it would look like if the truckers stopped trucking.”
