The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) took to Facebook on Monday to chide a truck driver for knowingly driving for miles on his rims.
On February 24, the Georgia DPS wrote:
Violation of the Week – Officers advised that this driver knowingly drove 5.5 miles on his rims because he needed to make it to the mill…his license was also suspended. Don’t ruin Georgia roads for everyone.
The Georgia DPS has recently shared a number of trucker blunders as a “Violation of the Week” — including a driver who allegedly failed a sobriety test after nearly crashing into an inspection pit and a very dangerous heavy equipment haul.
