Nebraska State Troopers are investigating after a minivan left the roadway and plowed into an I-80 weigh station.
The incident happened on Thursday, July 23, at the westbound I-80 weigh station near Waverly, Nebraska.
Troopers say that the weigh station was closed and unoccupied when a minivan collided with the building and drove inside the structure.
According to local news outlet KGHI-TV, the minivan hit the west side of the building, which is an office area for the Carrier Enforcement Division.
No weigh station personnel were hurt.
The minivan driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
