On Friday morning, transportation authorities in Pennsylvania and New York issued travel restrictions due to a winter storm.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has issued a travel restriction that reduces speed limits to 45 and allows commercial vehicles to travel in the right lane only on the following roadways:

The New York State Thruway Authority has also issued a 45 m.p.h. speed limit reduction on I-90 between exit 27 (Amsterdam) and exit 48A (Pembroke).
