Floridians are 27% more thankful for truckers than they were just a few months ago, says a recent poll.
According to a Mason-Dixon poll conducted in July, 84% of Floridians have a positive attitude towards truck drivers these days, versus a mere 57% prior to the pandemic.
As Florida continues to move forward from COVID-19, please be aware of tireless work of commercial motor vehicle drivers, who have moved much-needed supplies throughout FL and the rest of the country while many have been staying safe at home. #ThankATrucker #ShareTheRoad pic.twitter.com/OCCXCAHkl5

The poll also discovered that both women and young people have realized the worth of truck drivers during this global crisis as well, with their positive feelings up by 32% and 30%, respectively, reported The Palm Beach Post.
This means that only 6% of people in Florida have maintained their negative or ‘somewhat negative’ attitudes towards the heroes of the road, even in areas with major traffic.
As the Florida Trucking Association says: “Your Tomorrow Is on a Truck Today.”
The Florida Highway Patrol wants to remind you to keep our truckers safe by keeping out of the no zone. Truck drivers are providing critical necessities to and through our state. #ThankATrucker pic.twitter.com/BEdnpwGdiR
