A truck driver hauling a large dump truck made a slight miscalculation driving through Idaho Falls yesterday.
The incident occurred on Monday, August 17th in Idaho off of Interstate 15.
According to Lt. Chris Weadick of the Idaho State Police, the semi truck hauling a large dump truck entered I-15 from Grandview Drive but got stuck beneath the overpass.
“There was some sort of confusion on the driver’s part on where he was supposed to go when he came through Idaho Falls,” Weadick said.
The stuck truck caused slow traffic in the area as crews worked to remove the oversized rig, and travelers were advised to seek alternate routes.
Crews are still working on the big load to get it off the highway. It is too tall for the overpass. pic.twitter.com/uZJoACdUk0
