Trucker warns others after his windshield is shattered on I-70

A truck driver took to social media to warn others to use caution after his windshield was shattered by an object as he was traveling on a West Virginia interstate.

In a Facebook post shared to the trucking industry group ‘Trucker Feed’ on September 19, Andrew Brandley‎ shared a brief warning after his scary close call.

Brandley wrote, “Happened to me I70 EB just outside Triadelphia WV this morning, be careful if anyone is rolling through this area as it happened to another truck according to local sheriff.”

Brandley added that he believes he was hit by either a rock or a baseball and that the object nearly went through his windshield.

Truckers have been targeted in highway attacks across the county numerous times so far this year.
