Cameras were rolling today when a semi truck took a terrifying tumble off of an interstate overpass onto the roadway below.
The crash occurred around 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
New Mexico State Police say that a semi truck traveling east on I-10 struck a light pole in the median, causing the 68 year old truck driver to lose control and drive off of the interstate overpass onto Avenida de Mesilla below.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The truck driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
