A crash involving four vehicles, including a semi truck, sent one person to the hospital and injured four others in Colorado on Monday morning.
The accident happened on June 7th just before 7:30 a.m. in Commerce City.
According to Fox 31 News, the crash happened along Highway 2 between 88th Avenue and 104th Avenue and involved a fuel tanker, which ended up in a nearby yard.
SACFD responded to a multi vehicle accident at 96th Ave & Hwy 2. Four vehicles involved including a rolled semi truck. One person was extricated from the crash and transported to a nearby hospital. Four others suffered minor injuries and were treated on scene.
The details surrounding the cause of the crash are not clear.
Highway 2 is expected to remain closed for an ‘extended’ period of time.
