$500,000 in electronics swiped from parked semi truck

Police are looking for the people responsible for the theft of $500,000 worth of electronics from a semi truck in California on Wednesday. 

The theft occurred on May 12th in Hanford, California just after 6 p.m.

According to Fox 26 News, deputies were called to the  area of 10 1/2 Ave. and Hanford Armona Road and spoke with the owner of the truck. The unidentified owner told officers that he followed the thieves’ vehicle as it fled the scene packed with electronics. They described the getaway vehicle as a maroon 2016 Honda Accord with CA license plates, and even recorded the number. They also mentioned that two white vans were with the Honda at the time of the burglary. 

Detectives ran the plate number (8UJA829) and learned that the vehicle is registered in Los Angeles. 

As of Friday, May 14th, no arrests had been made in the case. Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call Kings Co. Detective Joshua Hunt.
