A truck driver was recently recognized by his company for his safety and professionalism behind the wheel — and now he’s walking away with a brand new motorcycle.
Illinois-based flatbed carrier GT Express announced that driver Corey Stowe is the winner of their “Best Company Driver of the Year” for 2021.
The GT Express “Best Company Driver of the Year” is given to the driver who goes the extra mile to provide superior customer service while also focusing on safety and productivity. The company says that the popular motorcycle giveaway is a way to show how much they appreciate the drivers who power GT Express toward success with their skill and hard work.
Stowe selected an Indian motorcycle for his prize, and after receiving the keys from GT Express Operations Manager Eric Whitten, Stowe was able to ride off the lot with his brand-new, bada$$ bike.
This is the second year that GT Express has given away a motorcycle as part of their top driver competition. The company says that they plan to continue the giveaway each year and they encourage drivers who want to get in on next year’s giveaway to get in touch.
“So we come to an end to this year’s bike giveaway. Corey Stowe’s the driver of the year. He got the new bike this year and we’re ready to start again for next year,” Whitten said, already looking ahead to the 2022 giveaway.
