Driver that plowed through group of bicyclists allowed $750k bail ahead of approaching court date

Published:

The box truck driver responsible for driving through a group of bicyclists outside of Las Vegas two months ago has been allowed bail ahead of an upcoming court date.

Jordan Barson was originally denied bail after his arrest on charges of DUI and reckless driving resulting in death. However, this week prosecutors filed a motion for $1 million bail, and during a hearing on Thursday, February 11th, Barson’s bail was reset to $750,000, reported 3 News.

If Barson makes bail, he will be required to submit to random urine tests, drug and alcohol monitoring, high-level electronic monitoring, and a no-driving order.

His next court date is scheduled for March 4th.
