Massive traffic backups have been reported on I-40 in Arkansas as severe winter weather conditions contribute to crashes.
Both directions of I-40 at mile marker 169 in Lonoke, Arkansas, are reportedly closed on Wednesday afternoon.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation says that a collision involving seven semi trucks occurred on eastbound I-40.
