A woman and child were injured in an icy wreck in Michigan on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on November 30th in Tuscola County on Colling Road north of Fairgrove Road.
According to ABC 12 News, the semi truck jackknifed and then partially tipped over, landing on top of the SUV. A woman and child inside of the SUV were seriously injured in the incident. The truck driver did not report any injuries.
Michigan State Police are still investigating how exactly the semi truck and SUV collided, but officers do believe that freezing fog and icy roadways contributed to the crash.
The road will be closed as traffic crash reconstructionists are investigating. Troopers are being assisted by Caro and Fairgrove FD, Mikes Wrecker Service, MMR, and the Tuscola Co Road Commission. At the time of the crash the road was icy and the area had heavy freezing fog. 2/2 pic.twitter.com/6DGqZlwVr2
