Shuttered old school Missouri truck stop reopens as a Pilot

Published:

The Pilot Company has opened a store in Missouri in a location that formerly housed the Farris Truck Stop.

The recently opened Pilot is located off I-29 at Exit 35 in Faucett, Missouri.

The location formerly housed the Farris Truck Stop, which was in operation from 1976 until May 2021. The Farris Truck Stop was best known for its sign with a 1974 Peterbilt truck with a 1965 Fruehauf trailer mounted 50 feet high.

Amenities at the 12,800 square foot Faucett Pilot store include 55 truck parking spaces, a Taco Bell restaurant, seven showers, eight diesel lanes, laundry facilities, and a driver lounge.
