A motorist was killed in a fiery wreck that closed a portion of Interstate 95 in Florida early on Monday morning.
The accident happened near Miami, Florida at around 3:30 a.m. on April 4th.
According to The Miami Herald, both vehicles were traveling northbound along Interstate 95 at Northwest 62nd street when the motorist rear ended the rig, wedging the hood of the car beneath the truck and sparking a fire that consumed both vehicles.. The force of the impact trapped the motorist inside of the burning vehicle, killing them on site.

The truck driver was not hurt in the incident, but the northbound side of I-95 was shut down for cleanup and investigation.
As of 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning, traffic was still impacted in the area and Drivers were asked to seek alternate routes, which included Northwest Seventh Avenue and 27th Avenue.
