Trucker calls 911 to report being followed, later admits he’s just high

Charges are pending against a truck driver who called 911 to report being followed.

34-year-old Richard Christian of Missouri was driving through Lawrence Township, Pennsylvania in late January when he called 911 to report he was being “chased and followed by several cars,” Local News Radio reports.

When police responded to the call and pulled Christian over to investigate the claims, Christian eventually admitted that he had ingested methamphetamine, which had likely led to the paranoia that he was being followed.

Officers then transported Christian to a healthcare facility for a blood draw. Charges against Christian are still pending.
