Ohio authorities say that they discovered the body of a man in a river near the area where a semi truck crashed into a home on Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported on the morning of June 16th in Grand Rapids, Ohio at State Route 65 and Wapakoneta Road. Officials say that that a semi truck crashed into several cars before hitting a house.

That driver ran from the scene and has been missing since, however the Sheriff tells me a body has been found nearby in the Maumee River. No one in the home was hurt.
The driver of the truck, described as a black man in a maroon shirt and jeans, fled the scene after the crash.
Shortly after the crash, a body was discovered in a nearby Maumee River and it is believed to be the truck driver who fled.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office told 13abc that the driver’s company hadn’t heard from him in two days after he went off of his route. Authorities suspect that he could have been suffering from a medical emergency or mental health issue.
