This dashcam footage showcases just how much damage one wrong-way motorist can do on a well-traveled highway.
This footage was captured on Interstate 20 in Duncanville, Texas in 2018, but the wrong-way motorist wasn’t convicted of driving while intoxicated and intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and subsequently sentenced to life in prison until August 2019.
In the video, the wrong-way driver smashes into one car, then another, before colliding with the front of an oncoming semi truck. The force of the impact caused the semi truck to jackknife and the car, driven by Guillermo Suarez, to burst into flames. One of the other motorists was killed in the crash.
