As news of the 12 hour, 10 mile standstill traffic backups along I-40 in Arkansas spreads, truck driver and CDLLife App user Mack M. took to the app to share his first-hand experience at an overcrowded truck stop just off the interstate.
“Oh, how I love winter!” Mack wrote. “I-40 mm 161 this morning.”
“I just wanted to show you what it’s like and this ain’t even the beginning of it. It started way back there at the truck stop. I should have started this when I first took out of there but I wanted to show y’all this mess,” he says in the clip.
In the video, semi trucks can be seen shoved in every possible space
“All these guys have probably been stopped here a long, long time. This is jammed all the way back. There are three truck stops across the bridge behind me and they’re all sitting on the bridge back there,” Mack continued.
The video continues until just before he reaches the highway entrance ramp, complete with a cameo from his little, scruffy dog, Monty.
