Car smashed in wreck with cement truck

Two people were hurt in a crash involving a cement truck and a sedan in Utah on Friday morning. 

The accident happened on March 18th near 3500 South Midland Dr. around 7:30 a.m. in West Haven, Utah. 

According to 2 KUTV, a four wheeler struck a cement pumper truck, causing it to overturn on top of another car. The accident trapped the motorist inside of the crushed car, and heavy rescue crews were called to the scene to rescue the driver. 

Both the driver of the car that caused the accident and the car that was crushed in the accident were transported to a nearby hospital – the first driver in critical condition and the second driver in serious condition. The driver of the cement truck was not injured. 

Around 200 gallons of diesel were spilled in the wreck, but was contained by fire crews. The wreck closed Midland Drive to traffic.
