Missouri transportation authorities report major delays on I-70 in the Columbia area due to a crash and trucks having trouble climbing hills.
A multi-vehicle crash occurred around 11 a.m. on Wednesday on westbound I-70 at mile marker 124.

Around 12:30 p.m., the Missouri Department of Transportation reported that one lane of westbound I-70 had reopened and “traffic is SLOWLY moving through that area.”
A stalled truck has also been reported on eastbound I-70 at mile marker 122 west of Columbia.

The Missouri Department of Public Safety reports further delays along I-70 in the Columbia area caused by tractor trailers having trouble on hills after the area saw 3 to 4 inches of snowfall.
