Kansas deputy arrests truck driver for possession of cocaine, hallucinogens

A truck driver was recently jailed in Kansas after reports of erratic driving led to the discovery of illegal drugs in his possession.

On July 27, a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Deputy stopped a tractor trailer near 102nd and U.S. 75 Highway.

JCSO had received previous reports of the tractor trailer being driven erratically near Holton.

Subsequent investigation led to the alleged discovery of cocaine, an hallucinogenic drug and drug paraphernalia in the possession of the truck driver.

Driver Christopher James Caldwell, 31, of Cypress, Texas, was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges related to drug possession.
