Multiple trucker convoys roll through midwestern states

Published:

Several trucker convoys have been spotted rolling through the midwest Thursday night and Friday morning as they make their way to the D.C. area.

The People’s Convoy made its way through Columbus, Ohio on Thursday and is expected to reach the D.C. area by Saturday, reported Fox 8

The Freedom Convoy made a stop in Sioux Falls, North Dakota on Thursday night and were greeted by more than 40 supporters who provided dinner and breakfast for the truckers, reported the Argus Leader. That convoy headed out Friday morning at around 10 a.m. Witnesses say that it was hard to determine how many truckers were involved, but that the truck stop parking lot where the group stayed overnight was ‘busy but not full’ an hour before their Friday morning departure.

The Rolling Freedom Convoy passed through Minnesota on Friday morning after staying the night at the  Truckers Inn in Sauk Center, reported Fox 9. They reached Hudson, Wisconsin around 11 a.m. on Friday with approximately 30 vehicles including semi trucks, pickups, and other vehicles.

The Kansas Truckers for Freedom Convoy will be rolling through St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City today, with an additional ‘slow roll’ planned through Columbia to allow for drivers to collect donations and supplies, reported Fox 2. They expect to be at the truck stop at Interstate 55 exit 18 in Troy, Illinois at around 6:30 pm and stop in Vandalia for the night.
