Semi truck snagged by partial road collapse in Mississippi

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) responded to a partial road collapse that likely led to a terrifying moment for a truck driver on Wednesday afternoon.

MHP Troop K said around 4 p.m. on Wednesday that troopers were on the scene at Highway 67 and US 49 in Harrison County.

Troopers said that that the roadway partially collapsed under a truck.

There was no word from MHP on any injuries.

“The off-ramp to US49 South at the Highway 67 interchange will be closed for an undetermined amount of time while repairs are being made,” MHP said.
