Bump from semi truck throws man from boom lift

A man thrown from boom lift will make a full recovery after a run-in with a semi truck on a Minneapolis street on Wednesday afternoon. 

The accident happened at around 12:25 p.m. in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 10th South Street and Nicollet Mall on October 25th. 

According to CBS News, a construction worker in his 40s was in a boom lift above the street conducting maintenance on the Minneapolis Skyway System when a tractor trailer heading east on 10th Street South came in contact with the arm of the boom. The boom arm collapsed as a result of the contact, and the man was thrown into the intersection. 

The man sustained non life threatening injuries in the incident, which also damaged the truck trailer. The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. No arrests or charges have been made as a result of the incident. No further information has been released.
