The CEO of digital freight broker convoy says he is working on a business deal with former employees of the company after its shutdown last week.
The Seattle-based startup laid off 533 employees and shut down last week just one day after canceling all loads and warning employees of an upcoming announcement.
Convoy was founded just eight years ago and described itself as “the nation’s leading digital freight network” with a value of $3.8 billion.
Now, Convoy CEO Dan Lewis says that he is “heads down” working on a business deal “that will include some of the Convoy team and our tech/services,” according to his post on LinkedIn.
No further information on the situation has been released.
