CHP calls out truck driver for ‘ALL’ flat outer tires on left side

Published:

This week, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) took to social media to call attention to a truck driver’s major tire mishap.

The truck tire kerfuffle was spotted this week at the Otay Mesa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility in Otay Mesa, California.

“This vehicle was selected for inspection. The driver claimed he was unaware that ALL tires on the left side were flat,” CHP said in a July 12 social media post.

CHP shared several photos of the truck’s flat tires.

Social media commenters came with jokes, theories, and corrections.

That happens when you forget to take out the winter air and put summer air in,” said one person.

Not all tires are flat…the inner 2 on the drive axles are up,” another Facebook user pointed out.

Wouldn’t the tires be destroyed if he was driving down the road like that? Seems like it maybe happened within the last couple miles,” another person said.
